Boipeba Island
Boipeba Island is located in the south of Bahia, 350 km from Salvador. Considered since 2013 as the second best island in South America.
Located in the Tinharè Archipelago, with dense Atlantic forest, Boipeba is surrounded on one side by the ocean and on the other by the Rio do Inferno. Due to the richness of its natural heritage, the region was recognized by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve and a World Heritage Site. It is home to extensive coconut farms, numerous coral reefs, extensive mangroves and sand dunes; Thousands of incredible natural scenes.
Simple infrastructure and deserted beaches, an ideal destination for those looking to relax, spiritually heal and disconnect from society, immersing themselves in living nature.
The streets of the main town, Velha Boipeba, are made of stone and very colorful houses and the streets of the villages in the interior - Moreré - are made of sand and many lead to paradisiacal beaches.

Bahian gastronomy
